The Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center is located in St. Charles, Missouri on the Missouri River at Bishop's Landing. The Center houses the Lewis and Clark Museum where visitors can view dioramas illustrating scenes from the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Native American life and various Missouri River habitats that Lewis and Clark discovered during their journey. Replicas of the boats used by Lewis and Clark, which were also used during the recent reenactment of the expedition are on display at the museum. There is a museum gift shop called the "Trading Post" where souvenirs and books relating to Lewis and Clark can be purchased. Tours are self guided and there is an admission fee.
